The Troup High School Student Angler Federation has earned the School of The Year Award for the East Division.
The group earned Top School Honors at three of the five tournaments this year.
East Division Angler of the Year awards went to Jace & Dalton in 2nd Place and Tucker & Cooper in 3rd place.
Four THS fishing teams qualified for the THSBA Regional fishing tournament held this weekend on Lake of the Pines, and three of those teams are now headed to the state tournament.
Tucker and Cooper placed 9th out of over 220 teams on the lake. Ty and Colby weighed in 4 fish, Jace and Dalton weighed in 4 fish, and Payton and Joseph weighed in 4 fish.
It’s been a great year for the Troup Student Angler Federation.
