The Troup High School Majorettes competed at the Region 21 UIL Solo and Ensemble contest on Wednesday, November 9th. Altogether they brought home 19 gold first-division medals and state invitations.
Soloists who earned a Superior Rating are: Senior and Head Majorette Hannah Massey, Junior Faith Garrett, Junior Ellie Lewis, Junior Aubrey Griffin, Sophomore Natalie Godejohn, Sophomore Lindsey Lowry, Sophomore Jacey Benge, Freshman McKenzie Weaver, Freshman Maddi Braswell, and Freshman Camdyn Keiner
Soloists who earned an Excellent Rating are Sophomore Cadence Tippett, Freshman Qhenja Jordan, and Freshman Amy White.
Ensembles that earned a Superior Rating are quartet: Hannah Massey, Natalie Godejohn, Faith Garrett, and McKenzie Weaver, and quintet: Lindsey Lowry, Ellie Lewis, Maddi Braswell, Jacey Benge, and Qhenja Jordan.
The ensemble that earned an Excellent Rating is the quartet of Aubrey Griffin, Camdyn Keiner, Amy White, and Cadence Tippett.
