On Thursday, we hosted the Troup powerlifting meet, and the Troup Boys and Girls teams did an amazing job. The results are as follows:
Girls Team:
As a team, the Girls team finished 2nd (just missing first place by 1 point). The Coaches were super proud of how the girls lifted and how they supported each other throughout the meet. This is an amazing group of young ladies, and they are going to be exciting to watch compete this season.

** The powerlifting coaches would like to thank a few people who made last night possible.
-Miss Sam, Coach Howard, Coach Thomas and Coach Boyd for judging and Expediting the meet last night. We would also like to thank the many football players that took time out of their schedules to volunteer to load and spot for the meet.
-Our amazing table workers who were former members of the powerlifting team. Yarahi Yanez, Briar Kirkland and Georgia Ray are absolute rockstars for coming back and helping out.
- Noble Kendrick, Billy Borja, James Pierce, Addy Hollis and Mckenzie May for all their hard work wrapping knees, unwrapping knees and keeping up with clipboards.
