The Troup Tiger Power-lifting team traveled to Arp last Thursday. It was a great night for both teams, with the Girls' Team placing 1st overall and the Boys' Team placing 3rd. Caden Starkey earned the Outstanding Lifter - Heavy Platform recognition.
The Coaches are proud of how the teams performed. The Girls' Team season ended Thursday night. They will now be prepping for regionals. 13 girls qualified for the Regional Meet! The Boys' Team still has one more week and will possibly be carrying a couple of lifters who are on the bubble for qualifying for regionals to a Last Chance meet. More info to come.
