During the ceremony, Gabriela Salinas-New, THS class of 1999, spoke about her experiences growing up and gaining the education needed to become a nurse practitioner. She reminded students that not everything is easy, but you can persevere; fear may come, but you can move past it and still accomplish your dreams and goals.
