Coach Lacy
Welcome to my webpage! :)
I am teaching Algebra I and Geometry. I am also the head cross country coach and assistant track coach. I graduated from Troup in May of 2008. After high school, I attended Lon Morris College in Jacksonville for one year before transferring to UT Tyler in August of 2009. In May 2012, I graduated from UT Tyler with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. I have been teaching in Troup since the fall of 2012.
My husband works as a teacher and coach at New Summerfield High School. We have one daughter.

My goal is to be a positive influence in each of my student’s lives and always push them to be the best they can be. My expectations for myself and my students are very high. I expect every student to come prepared everyday and be ready to learn. My philosophy is “it’s ok to not know but it’s not ok to not try.” As a teacher, I am here to help. I want each and every student to be successful. I am looking forward to a great year!
