Wendy Thomas

I have been blessed to be a coach’s wife for 31 years. Coach and I have four kids who attended Troup Schools. We have a a son who is a Graduate of UT Tyler, a daughter who is a graduate of Texas A&M University, a son who is a graduate of Sam Houston University and a son who is a Graduate Student at Texas A&M University. We also have a son-in-law, a baby granddaughter will soon welcome a grandson to the family!

My philosophy of teaching is very simple: make it relevant. Kids want to understand how things in school relate to their lives. I strive to show my students why they should care about people and places around the world. I want my students to be thinkers who never stop learning. My hope is that they leave Troup ISD able to make good decisions, and able to make up their own minds.

My Conference time is 2:00 daily.
